3/14 White day, met an old friend

So today is White Day. Thanks to this I-don'-t-know-where-it-originated-from modern day tradition, office was full of sweets today. Each and every member of our team was given a small bag of sweets, so I brought mine home, into which I poured(?) even more sweets from the big basket of candies addressed to our team. 

Work was relatively easy today. I wasn't as busy as the past few days, and it looked like I could finish at 6 o' clock. Out of the blue, I sent a message to one of my favorite friends, asking if she was free this evening. I thought she was working near my office, but apparently she had recently quit her job. So we met. 

We have known each other for about 7 years now, and every time we meet, it was after some gap. We don't talk to each other that often either. However, it never feels awkward when we meet. On the contrary, I feel so comfortable talking, really talking my heart to her, and I am pretty sure that she feels the same way. She is a great listener, and we share so many things in common. We think similarly too. I guess we have a similar personality - worrying one. The last time I saw her was perhaps just about a year ago. We had a lot to update to each other, and three hours went so quickly that I wished we could talk a bit longer. Next time, it would be nice to talk over some alcohol. 

I really wish her the best. Hope when we see each other next time, there will be a lot of happy and proud updates we could share.
